Instance Sizes

How application instance sizes and pricing work.

Every application runs on an instance size that fixes its CPU and memory. You choose a size, and how many instances to run, on the Scaling page or when you create an application.

How Sizes Work

Each size has a short code (for example op-20), an amount of vCPU, an amount of memory, and a per minute price that applies while an instance is running. Your cost scales with the size you pick and the number of instances you run.

Defaults

A new application starts on a small default size, which you can change at any time. The default depends on your plan.

Current Sizes and Prices

The full list of sizes, with exact vCPU, memory, and per minute price, is shown in the console on the Scaling page when you pick a size. See Scaling to change the size or instance count of a running application.
